Her interest was first piqued in 1948, when her amazing career began to unfold. Shant Kenderian

Shant Kenderian

was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1963 and immigrated to the US when he was a teenager. He has earned several degrees, including a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Once employed by NASA, Shant currently works for an aerospace company in the Los Angeles area. He lives in Pasadena, California with his wife and three children and serves as a youth group director for the Armenian Church.
